When someone has implants placed “under the muscle”, a frequent concern after surgery is that the breasts move when this muscle is activated. This movement can vary from mild to extreme.
Also, part of this movement can include the development of a deep groove along the underboob. The groove along the underboob that occurs when the pectoralis muscle is activated is called a dynamic double bubble.
This video clearly explains what a dynamic double bubble is and why it occurs.
Dr Dona has created these custom video animations to clearly explain in an easy to understand visual format implant pockets and double bubbles. These animations have become the gold standard in patient education (and tools for surgical training).
